Make it crooked!

While I didn’t love the idea of the crooked cabin being crooked, it was a fun challenge in making myself not take my work so seriously. My first design project at the museum I was tasked with creating a full miniature cabin in a 5’X5’ square for the museum’s annual snow days event. I promise all the framing is straight and structurally sound to the ICC/IBC building codes, but the siding and paneling using reclaimed lumber is as crooked as can be. This project like the lemonade stand was created to be easily disassembled and stored. However, again like the lemonade stand it was decided to become a permanent exhibit element at the museum.
