I was tasked with two main projects in The Nest ( A sensory friendly studio). In this exhibit the Children’s Museum goal was to create a space that wasn’t burdened with the deafening stimulation of other parts of the museum. A space where kids could relax and decompress. I was tasked to build a bed area with a 2’ cantilever and a slatted wood wall to act as a heated blanket holder. My smaller item in the space was CNC’d plant pots for the fake banana trees.
